Banjarmasin – The Deputy Governor of South Kalimantan, Mr. Rudy Resnawan have done the inspection to Syamsudin Noor airport, Terminal Km 6, and Trisakti harbour, yesterday on 24th of September. This inspection saw that generally the implementation of returning passengers in South Kalimantan runs effectively. However the number of this public service user decreased if compared to the previous year. Either in Terminal Km 6 or in Syamsudin Noor airport the estimatedly decreased for about 20% . This was informed by Rudy after having General Manager meeting of PT. Angkasa Pura I Syamsudin Noor airport.

For the air transportation, the additional time has been prepared for an extra flight. However until now is still not used yet. Meanwhile in terminal, there has been 60 fleets and 60 buses prepared for intercity, interprovincial. Temporarily, 20 buses still have not been operated yet.

From both places as explained above, there is a tendency of decreasing passanger compared to the previous year. Both in terminal or airport estimatedly will decrease around 20%. One of the reasons is because the number of returning passanger is not really high. (Corporate Communication/Source :Radar Banjarmasin/Translator by Yeni Mujiatin)
