Banjarbaru – The implementation of Passenger Service Charge (PSC) for every purchased tickets per February 9, 2015 for departures per March 1, 2015 has been started by all airports in Indonesia including Syamsudin Noor Airport Banjarmasin. PSC on Ticket’s regulation is a form of follow up of the Director General of Civil Aviation regulation KP.12 No. 2015, January 15, 2015, about the payment of Passenger Services Charges (PSC) included in Passengers Ticket.
For passengers purchasing flight’s tickets before February 9 for departures per March 1, 2015, PSC was not included in the ticket and the cost of the PSC will be charged by the Airlines on the check in time.
In the future, the expense of PJP2U or PSC will be charged by each Airline and included onto the plane ticket, thus passengers would be no longer required to pay at the airport. PSC charged by Airlines will later be forwarded to PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero).
As it’s already known, PJP2U or PSC is the tariff charged to the passenger by airport’s operator upon facilities and services given to them at the airport. For Syamsudin Noor Banjarmasin, the implementation of  PSC to passengers will be charged  as much as Rp 25.000, - for domestic flights.
Passengers are required to pay the PSC that air passengers who took the flight for 1 (one) flight by using one (1) ticket in accordance with the destination airport, including aircraft operations personnel and flight operations support personnel who traveled for positioning in compeleting tasks will be subjected to the PSC.
There are some passengers who free of charge of PSC, such as :
1. Baby/infant under the age of 24 months;
2. State guests and their entourage on an official visit / state in Indonesia;
3.Transit passengers and passenger transfers who take the flight with one (1) ticket, domestic or the international route;
4. Personnel aircraft operations and flight operations support personnel who are on duty in the flight (Crew on Duty) that are listed in the General Declaration;
5. Passenger aircraft on departure transfer from the airport listed on the ticket (Divert Flight);
6. Passenger aircraft flight departure delays so that should make the flight on a different day (Post-BEONC);
7. Aircraft passangers who are on overseas flights to pass through a series of routes in the country and the process of customs, immigration and quarantine (CIQ) in the first departure, is not subject to the PSC on transit airport.
