Synergy Between SOEs Syamsudin Noor Airport And LKBN Antara South Kalimantan

Banjarbaru - the Board of Syamsudin Noor Airport Management along with the new airport development project team visited the News Agency (LKBN) ANTARA South Kalimantan, Wednesday, 12  October 2016. His visit this time other than to increase the synergy among SOEs also for support and collaboration related to the broadcasting information on preparation of new airport developments.

The General Manager of Syamsudin Noor Airport, Handy Heryudhitiawan who was accompanied by the Leader of new Airport Development Project, Taochid Purnama and his staffs conveyed the efforts being taken to realize the dream of South Kalimantan’s people to build airport.

“Currently, we are conducting the final stages of land acquisition prior to the announcement of the auction winner and also are struggling to make the International airport status. The main objective of flights to Banjarmasin is family. It is still less than tourist destination, but we all have to be optimistic and continue work together to promote South Kalimantan.” he said.

“We hope this visit may strengthen synergy among SOEs to mutually support each program particularly development of Syamsudin Noor Airport.” he added.

He emphasized that the development of airport is not merely for the benefit of PT Angkasa Pura I, but for the sake of greater interest, for the progress of the area and the people of South Kalimantan.

“However, if the airport development to materialize, then the economy of South Kalimantan will be more advanced and welfare will increase so that we all should support it.” he said.

South Kalimantan ANTARA Bureau Chief, Abdul Hakim Muhiddin stated his party supported the development of Syamsudin Noor Airport. “We are strongly support because of the development of Syamsudin Noor Airport will advance South Kalimantan,” he said in Banjarmasin welcomed the visit of Syamsudin Noor Airport.

According to Abdul Hakim, his party will help through news start from deploying personnel and equipments existing to  expose the development of Syamsudin Noor Airport.

“We are here to help through news services, both nationally and portals including electronic media or TV so that the whole community to the world can know its development.” he said.

The Leader of Syamsudin Noor Airport development project, Taochid Purnomo said “We are still in the process of the auction and the winner expected to be announced in November 2016.” he said.

The construction will be started, if the auction winner has been selected. On the first stage will be constructed an apron and other support facilities. The first stage of the airport development worth Rp. 900 billion in the form of construction of aircraft parking place (apron) and other supporting facilities, and stage two is the construction of terminal, worth Rp 1.3 trillion.
